Design Activity 10 Blog

This past week in class we examined an alternate reality game in which we were tasked with helping to save Oswald the Mime.  The International Mime Academy alternate reality game that stretched across several mediums asking the audience to try and help Oswald escape back to Saint Paul, Minnesota.

While nothing more than a fun exercise in helping to free a captured mime, The International Mime Academy alternate reality game was effective in engaging its audience to try and get them to advance the game narrative.  The game designed puzzles and riddles, on several different mediums, that were not overly simple but not overly difficult to where the game’s progress would be stop and go.
